Is a collection of related activates that create a product or service of value to the organization, its business partners and its customers. A process has inputs and outputs and it activates can be measured.

Finance Business process: Managing account collection, applying costumer credit, Managing stock transaction.

Management business process: antivirus control, computer security, training computer users.

An example of a cross functional process

Department generate & submit the order it. Then passed onto the Accounting Department to check the credit of the customer, who after approval generates the invoice to the customer. After credit approval the Manufacturing & Production Department, know to assemble the product and ship to the customer.
